Adelaide Central Gallery and the Teaching & Studios Building

The 2017 Graduate Exhibition will present a significant body of outstanding work from 30 graduating Bachelor of Visual Art [Honours] and Bachelor of Visual Art students. With more than 250 works of art, this exhibition will take over all three floors of our Teaching and Studio Building and the Adelaide Central Gallery. 

Ranging from paintings, drawings, sculpture, mixed media works, installation works, textiles, films, and photography, the works reflect the passion, commitment, dedication and hard work of our graduating students across the final year of their studies. 2017 Graduate Exhibition represents a cohort of exciting, engaged emerging artists who are curious about the world and equipped with skills to embark on careers as professional practising artists.

2017 Awards for Excellence

The 2017 Awards for Excellence were announced at the Preview and opening of the 2017 Graduate Exhibition by visiting guest judge, Barbara Bolt, Professor in Contemporary Arts and Culture and Associate Dean Research, Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne.

The Awards for Excellence are presented by Adelaide Central School of Art each year to selected students for outstanding academic achievement and commitment to their studies.
