Drawing Intensive for Teenagers

16 - 17 September 2017

Join a new line up of artists including Alexandra Beckinsale, Andrew Clarke and Daniel Connell for two days of intensive drawing and art-making at Adelaide Central School of Art.  Hosted in our award-winning campus, the Drawing Intensive is for teenagers aged 13 – 17.

Learn new skills and techniques in three different workshops that respond to the works created in The Drawing Exchange.

  • Drawing from Found Images with Alexandra Beckinsale
    Be inspired by found imagery and photographs to create interesting and original drawing works in a variety of mediums.

  • Anatomical Drawing  with Andrew Clarke
    Get some form and structure in your figure drawings. Andrew will introduce some core concepts for anatomy drawing, using different models of the human body.

  • Big Portraits with Daniel Connell 
    Make big portrait drawings in this workshop with artist Daniel Connell. Learn techniques for depicting likeness and explore different aspects of working with models.

Cost: $190 - All materials included. Light refreshments will be provided. BYO lunch.
