The Studios

Central Studios Inc. is an incorporated body of independent, professional visual artists working in close association with the Adelaide Central School of Art.

These artists work in diverse fields from the highly realist and figurative to completely abstract painting plus ceramics and sculpture, installation and photography.

Most studio members exhibit regularly in South Australia and some also exhibit interstate and overseas. Their work is found in private, state, national and international collections.

Their age and experience is extremely varied. Some are very early in their careers and seeking their own directions, others are just beginning to establish themselves. A few of the most experienced have already gained a substantial measure of recognition. Residencies funded by private enterprise and government are available for short periods.

The advantage to the student of exposure to this unique situation is invaluable.
