On Campus Safety and Security

The Teaching and Studio building has been designed with a swipe card access system to provide secure access for all staff and award course students.  For more details, please see the Student Handbook.

The wet areas on each floor have a list of emergency contact numbers and an emergency telephone.

The disability access toilets at the eastern end of each floor are fitted with a red duress button.  If this alarm is activated, a central monitoring station is notified and police attendance is imminent.

Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault

Adelaide Central School of Art is committed to providing a safe and supportive working and learning environment for students, staff and the broader School community.

All members of the School community are responsible for contributing to a culture of mutual respect and an environment that is free of sexual harassment.

We encourage all students to download the 1800RESPECT Daisy app for emergency assistance and counselling in the event of an incident.
