History Festival Demonstration: Afghan Box Cameras Are Easy!
Drop in any time between 1pm - 5pm during Open Day to join Dr. Andrew Dearman for a demonstration that will show how easy it is to operate an Afghan Box Camera. You can ask questions, observe the process up-close, learn how Dr. Dearman made his camera by hand, and you may even be invited to sit for a portrait! History Festival Display: Asylum to Art School
Adelaide Central School of Art occupies two former buildings of Glenside Hospital, which was originally known as the Parkside Lunatic Asylum. View images of the redevelopment process that transformed the derelict buildings of the Men's P&O Ward and the Dining Hall into our beautiful contemporary art school.
