Graduate Support Program Grant and Residency Recipients Announced

We are thrilled to announce the grant recipients and the Fontanelle Residency recipient in the inaugural round of the Graduate Support Program

Adelaide Central School of Art has today announced six grant recipients, two quick response grant recipients and the recipient of the 12 month Fontanelle Residency in the inaugural Adelaide Central School of Art Graduate Support Program funding round.

“No other Higher Education provider of visual arts education in South Australia offers this kind of support for their graduates,” says Ingrid Kellenbach, Adelaide Central School of Art CEO. “The Graduate Support Program has begun an exciting chapter for the School and is already proving to be of immense value to graduates. We look forward to the outcomes of these projects and residency with great interest and anticipation.”

The following graduates have received Graduate Support Grant funding (up to $1000 each from the School)

  • Lily Ahlefeldt
  • Kristen Coleman (who recently exhibited in PICA Hatched 2016. Read more here)
  • Jessie Green
  • Sophie Green
  • Jess Taylor
  • Luke Wilcox (who recently performed in the Sydney Biennial with Richard Bell. Read more here)

The following graduates have received Quick Response Grant funding (up to $300 each from the School)

  • Kate Kurucz (also selected for the 2016 Guildhouse Collections Project with the Art Gallery of South Australia and winner of the 2016 Emma Hack Art Prize. More)
  • Tara O'conal

The inaugural recipient of the Adelaide Central School of Art Fontanelle Residency is:

  • Jane Skeer (who also exhibited in PICA Hatched 2016. Read more here)
