Mary Ann Santin and Jenna Pippet win Awards! 2013 Adelaide Central School of Art Bachelor of Visual Art Graduates Mary Ann Santin and Jenna Pippett were both presented awards at the 2013 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition. Mary Ann Santin was the recipient of the $7,500 San Remo Best New Talent Visual Arts Award and Jenna Pippett was presented the $3000 City of Adelaide Award. Congratulations Mary Ann and Jenna! Fiona Robert's wins Peoples' Choice Award 2011 Adelaide Central School of Art Bachelor of Visual Art Graduate Fiona Robert's wins the Peoples' Choice Award at the 2012 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition. Helpmann Academy Exhibition Seven of the twenty-nine selected graduates for 2012’s Helpmann Exhibition are graduates from Adelaide Central School of Art. Flourish! Adelaide Central School of Art Fundraising Exhibition Adelaide Central School of Art is moving — and we need your help... In November Adelaide Central Gallery will play host to a vital fundraising exhibition, Flourish! This Exhibition will assist with our capital campaign to raise significant funds to support our move to new premises next year. The exhibition will feature works by Artists that are Adelaide Central School of Art Graduates, Lecturers, Staff and Friends. Please join us for a celebratory opening night on Friday 11 November from 6-8pm. Come and contribute to some lively bidding at our auction, that begins at 7pm, and purchase artworks by established and emerging artists. SALA AWARDS and BIG Wins for ACSA Graduate! The annual SALA Awards were held at Keith Murdoch House on Tuesday 9 August 2011. Emerging artist Meaghan Coles was the recipient of The Adelaide Central School of Art Professional Development Award for an artist working in any medium that has graduated in the previous 3 years with an undergraduate degree. Meaghan’s prize includes an exhibition in the ACSA Studio Gallery in 2012 and participation in an ACSA Short Course or Masterclass of her choice. In other recent news: ACSA graduate Lyn Wood has won the Works of Paper Category B, prize during the 2011 Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize for her entry titled Fish out of Water. Congratulations Meghan and Lyn!

Angela Black Wins ACSA SALA Award! Winners of the SALA Awards were announced at the Official SALA Awards night on Tuesday 10 August 2010, at Keith Murdoch House. Angela Black was the recipient of The Adelaide Central School of Art Professional Development Award for an artist working in any medium that graduated in the previous 3 years with an undergraduate degree. Angela will use her prize to participate in an ACSA Short Course or Masterclass and will also have an exhibition in the ACSA Studio Gallery in 2011. Also a big congratulations to ACSA graduates Jen Trantor who won The Advertiser Business SA Contemporary Art Award for her work ‘Dress 1’, and to Nic Brown who won the SA Life Emerging Artist Award.

ACSA Sponsoring a SALA Award
The Adelaide Central School of Art is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring an award at the SALA festival for an emerging artist: The Adelaide Central School of Art Professional Development Award for Artists working in any medium that graduated in the previous 3 years with an undergraduate degree. Prize consists of: $500 towards the cost of an ACSA Short Course or Masterclass and an exhibition in the ACSA Studio Gallery in 2011. Specially commissioned porcelain jugs have been hand thrown by Jam Factory ceramicist Susan Frost and are available for purchase at the Adelaide Central School of Art front office for $55.
